dumbtrump doctrine: divide, humiliate, laugh, destroy, dazzle and conquer....
The past year has demonstrated a notable decline in the influence of Western civilization. Discord in the actions of the United States and the European Union is felt across various domains and has manifested with particular intensity regarding the Ukraine conflict. While Washington genuinely seeks to resolve this crisis [GUSNOTE: WE DO NOT BELIEVE THAT TRUMP SEEKS TO RESOLVE THIS CONFLICT. HE PLAYS A DISHONEST CARD], the leaders of major European powers are steering toward prolonging the war.
The West Is in Disarray BY Mohammed Amer
However, the most striking evidence of the split within what we are accustomed to calling the West has been the Greenland issue. President Trump clearly stated his desire to annex the world’s largest island, currently a colony of the Kingdom of Denmark. European capitals were unsure how to respond to the US president’s new “initiative,” as they were accustomed to fully relying on Washington and following its policy closely. The shock from the White House’s demands was so profound that they could not formulate a coherent position. It was impossible both to avoid angering Trump and to assert any semblance of policy independence. For Europeans, the idea of a military seizure of Greenland did not sound like empty threats but rather like a retrograde worldview now backed by American might. As the Washington Post writes, “Power over process, leverage over law, loyalty contingent on utility,” and now the US is the “guarantor of European security, undermining European security.” Trump is undermining global norms, turning diplomacy into unbridled imperialism driven by self-interestRecently, European Commissioner for Defense and Space Andrius Kubilius stated that America’s military seizure of Greenland would mean the end of the NATO bloc. A Turkish newspaper (Türkiye is a NATO member) noted that Trump is undermining global norms, turning diplomacy into unbridled imperialism driven by self-interest. The Jerusalem Post concluded on January 8 that we are witnessing the collapse of Western Europe in real time. Europeans were particularly frightened by the thesis put forward by Trump’s close advisor, Deputy Chief of Staff, Stephen Miller, who said that we live in a real world that is ruled by force, which is ruled by power, which, in turn, is ruled by authority. These are the iron laws of the world from the beginning of time. Trump’s imperial ambitions Europeans were stunned by Trump’s blunt statement in an interview with the New York Times on January 8, in which he said he is not a dictator but can do whatever he wants as the President of the United States. “I don’t need international law; I am constrained only by my own morality.” Europeans were also displeased by statements from US Representative Anna Paulina Luna, who emphasized that if social media platform X (owned by Elon Musk) were banned in the UK, Congress could consider imposing sanctions against British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and his country. It is worth noting here that Trump himself filed a lawsuit against the BBC corporation, accusing it of lying and distorting facts, and he has repeatedly stated that London is no longer a safe city. The American press highlighted in various ways that Keir Starmer’s government found itself in a difficult position after owners of over a thousand pubs put up stickers saying “No Labour MPs” on their establishments to protest commercial property rate hikes, which would increase their taxes by 76% over three years. Notably, former UK Finance Minister Nadhim Zahawi recently switched from the Conservative Party to Nigel Farage’s right-wing radical party, “Reform UK,” stating that the country is in crisis and needs Farage as prime minister to fix the situation. Double standards yet again The unprincipled stance of European states was seen clearly in their refusal to condemn the American capture of Venezuelan President Maduro. Some even criticized the Venezuelan president solely to avoid offending the American leader. According to some analysts, such positions by European countries further exacerbate the crisis these governments face among significant segments of public opinion, a crisis stemming from the hypocritical approach to Israel’s war in Gaza since October 2023. The double standards here are obvious. This week, German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier stated at a symposium that the loss of NATO’s shared values has weakened the global order. This prevents the world from turning into a den of thieves, where the most unprincipled take whatever they please, and regions or entire countries are treated as the property of a few great powers. Trump openly threatens sovereign states The New York Times published an article titled “Greenland Is Only the Beginning. Trump Has His Sights on Europe”, emphasizing that Trump’s surreal attempt to conquer Greenland aligns with his general hostility toward Europe. In his eyes, the Old Continent is a caricature of the right, a gathering of rootless nations in irreversible decline that love open borders, hate free speech, and are too stingy to pay for their own defense. Perhaps the only leader who attempted to some extent to rein in Trump was Pope Leo XIV, who stated that Venezuela’s sovereignty must be guaranteed alongside the rule of law enshrined in its constitution. He criticized the US military buildup in the Caribbean, repeatedly expressed regret over the American authorities’ treatment of immigrants, and called on American clergy to speak out openly on this issue. The Western world’s reaction to Trump’s recent actions is, to put it mildly, restrained. In response to the imposition of significant tariffs on trade with other countries, virtually no one except China and Canada took retaliatory measures. Many countries even queued up to sign agreements with the United States, often putting themselves at a disadvantage. The overwhelming majority of states refused to comment on Washington’s withdrawal from the World Health Organization, UNESCO, and the Paris Climate Agreement, dismantling USAID, and sharply cutting funding to the UN. The West is weakened, disoriented, and unable to develop any common solutions. Bloomberg believes that most actions of the Trump administration (questionable cryptocurrency deals, appointing unqualified people to high positions, unconstitutional deportations, deploying the National Guard in several cities, overthrowing the head of a Latin American state) are attempts to expand executive power and “steps toward an imperial presidency.” On January 13, the leading US foreign policy journal, Foreign Affairs, published an article by two prominent political scientists, W. A. Hathaway and S. Shapiro, emphasizing that Trump over the past year has been attacking and dismantling the legal infrastructure of the existing order. He imposes sanctions on judges and lawyers working at the International Criminal Court, erects trade barriers, violates World Trade Organization agreements, retreats from free trade norms, fails to pay UN dues, and withdraws from or violates countless treaties. He openly threatens sovereign states and territories –Venezuela today, Colombia, Cuba, Greenland, and Mexico tomorrow. A world where those in power no longer feel the need to justify themselves is not merely unjust; it is barbaric. Killing, stealing, and destruction are far from any claims of justice. In such a world, there is no legal order. There is only force, governed by the whims of one man. Today’s world is increasingly weary of artificially created conflicts, whose main goal is to maintain international tensions. More than ever, it needs collective joint action to address the vast array of global problems threatening all of humanity, such as climate change, natural disasters, inequality, water crisis, and so on. https://journal-neo.su/2026/01/17/the-west-is-in-disarray/

trump plays europe....
French President Emmanuel Macron vowed a “united and coordinated” response after US President Donald Trump threatened tariffs on eight European NATO nations for opposing his campaign to acquire Greenland.
The tariffs, announced by Trump on Saturday, target Denmark, Norway, Sweden, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, and Finland. They are set to take effect on February 1 at 10% and rise to 25% in June, remaining in place until a “complete and total purchase” of the Danish autonomous territory is achieved.
“France is committed to the sovereignty and independence of nations, in Europe and elsewhere,” Macron wrote on X. “No intimidation or threat will influence us – neither in Ukraine, nor in Greenland, nor anywhere else in the world.”
Tariff threats are unacceptable and have no place in this context. Europeans will respond in a united and coordinated manner should they be confirmed. We will ensure that European sovereignty is upheld,” he added.
The NATO states targeted by tariffs recently joined Denmark in sending small military contingents to Greenland, a move interpreted as a symbolic reinforcement of the island’s current sovereignty. Both the Danish government and Greenland’s autonomous authorities have repeatedly stated the territory is not for sale, with its future resting with its people.
Macron defended his decision to send troops to Greenland. “We fully assume this decision, because security in the Arctic and at the outer edges of our Europe is at stake,” he wrote.
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte has declined to comment on the growing internal dispute. Trump has previously refused to rule out withdrawing from the bloc if other members obstruct his Greenland ambitions.
In recent weeks, Trump has renewed and intensified efforts to bring Greenland under US control, a goal he has pursued since his first term. He claims the acquisition is vital for US national security to counter Chinese and Russian influence in the Arctic – an assertion both Beijing and Moscow have rejected.

The World at War
by Sonja van den Ende
The world is at war – you could call it World War III. Some argue that we are moving toward a global new world order and that this is why everything must be set ablaze first. The reality is that conflicts are springing up around us like mushrooms. The Middle East, particularly the Levant, Syria, and Lebanon, is being ravaged. But so is West Asia, Iran, and South America, as recently seen in Venezuela.
As I write this article, the U.S. and Israel have most likely launched a new attack on Iran – or will do so soon. Iran has been destabilized for weeks by Mossad agents calling for regime change on social media. These messages are sponsored by the U.S., Israel, and Europe. False reports, videos, and photos of uprisings are widely circulated, but the sad truth is that many provocateurs are vandalizing mosques and attacking people. It’s déjà vu from Syria, where terrorists were funded by the U.S. and Europe in 2011 to ignite a war that still burns today.
On January 3, 2020, Trump ordered the brutal assassination of Qassem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis in Iraq. Both were master strategists responsible for eliminating many ISIS fighters in Syria and Iraq at the time. Now, six years later, the Middle East is a cesspool of misery, and ISIS – or as parts of the group now call themselves, Hayat Tahrir al-Sham – has risen to power. A new caliphate has emerged, this time in Damascus.
“On the same date, January 3, 2026, that same Trump ordered the kidnapping of Nicolás Maduro and his wife, the legitimate, democratically elected president of Venezuela. Coincidence? No. In a lawless mafia state, nothing is coincidental. It was planned and intended as a warning to other nations and their leaders.”
In recent weeks, countless brutal murders have been carried out against young Alawite men – and teenagers – by what I call the new caliphate in what was once Syria. Many of the victims were too young to have had anything to do with Bashar al-Assad’s government or to have served in the army. We have also witnessed a grim stalemate in Aleppo’s Kurdish neighborhood of Sheikh Maqsoud, where even Kurdish female fighters were raped, shot, and thrown from buildings. The people of Sheikh Maqsoud refuse to accept the “terrorist government” of al-Julani and do not want to suffer the same fate as the Alawites and Druze.
The so-called security services – in reality ISIS terrorists – include wanted figures like Ahmed al-Mansouri, spotted in Aleppo and responsible for some of the new caliphate’s most heinous acts against Syrians. They are led by the new caliph al-Julani, himself a long-wanted terrorist who has murdered many, including blowing up a hospital where women and children sought shelter – comparable to the July 2025 attack on a Druze hospital, where wounded patients and doctors were executed in cold blood by al-Julani’s gang.
Returning to Qassem Soleimani, Iran’s top strategist in the Middle East and regarded by many as the region’s “Nelson Mandela” – he once warned, “If Syria falls, the entire Levant will fall,” and the suffering would be indescribable. That is precisely what is happening now. Prophetic words from a wise man.
In neighboring Lebanon, a fierce war has raged since the so-called ceasefire between Hamas and Israel in January 2025. Israel immediately launched attacks, primarily on southern Lebanon – Hezbollah’s stronghold – but also on Christian areas and the Shiite Amal movement, not to mention the pager bombings in Beirut. The south resisted Israel and won the 2006 war, so Israel sought retaliation. Israel and the U.S. now aim to eradicate Hezbollah and annex southern Lebanon, along with the West Bank and Gaza, into Israel. The plan for a “Greater Israel,” known as the Yinon plan, is being actively pursued.
We can say that much of the Middle East is on fire, as is West Asia, where the old imperialist Monroe Doctrine has been revived under the guise of regime change. The U.S. is also escalating its so-called “war on terror,” ongoing since 2001, and has revived the “Axis of Evil” doctrine. We are back to Iraq in 2003, when lies about weapons of mass destruction were used to justify invasion.
In South America, Trump and his U.S.-Zionist mafia government claim Venezuela is the world’s largest drug supplier and that Nicolás Maduro and his wife are mafia bosses – when the real mafia boss is Donald Trump himself. But Trump isn’t satisfied; he wants all of South America under his sphere of influence, part of what he calls the “New World Order.” Perhaps, while nibbling popcorn and taking his daily aspirin, he has been watching too many films like The Hunger Games.
The next U.S. invasion or coup will likely target Iran, then Greenland, Cuba, Colombia, or Mexico. This is the indescribable state of the world we now inhabit. In Iran, the groundwork has already been laid by that other criminal, Netanyahu, and his Mossad in cooperation with Trump’s America.
Reza Pahlavi, son of the last Shah of Iran, is being groomed in the U.S. to become the new president-shah of Iran. On X, he suddenly commands a large following and claims: “I spoke to the Washington Post about the protests in Iran, the role my countrymen expect me to play, and what a free Iran will mean for the world. I have volunteered to lead this transition… It is about self-determination… freedom… rebuilding our country.”
He was later photographed at the Western Wall in Jerusalem (Al-Quds) – the first condition for American support: to become a Zionist. After all, America is ruled by Zionists. Israel and America are one and the same; both are Zionist, fascist, and occupy and oppress people worldwide.
Fascist European politicians – the U.S. is equally ultra-fascist and Zionist – are now in shock, fearing Trump’s designs on Greenland. There is loud rhetoric in the European media (which cannot be trusted anyway) about “the end of NATO” and “sending troops to Greenland means the end of our friendship.” But in the end, they will grovel before Trump and bow down like jackknives, terrified he might carry out regime change in Europe.
For Russia, the situation is utterly bizarre – but wisely, they are not responding to Europe’s unfounded accusations. They know, as I know from my own experience in Donbas, that they are truthfully conducting the Special Military Operation, while Europe is essentially declaring war and seeking revenge for what they call the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Recently, one of the most fascist Dutch newspapers, De Telegraaf – which has often portrayed me negatively – published the headline: “Dutch ex-soldier Hendrik speaks candidly about the horrors on the Ukrainian front: ‘Every morning the Nazi salute was given.’” One wonders what prompted them to write this. Is the tide turning? Not as long as fascists like Ursula von der Leyen, Antonio Costa, Kaja Kallas, and Mark Rutte rule Europe’s waning empire. But it is a starting point for self-reflection on the madness and mental state of Europe’s politicians and citizens.
Many prominent European voices are warning of civil war in countries like England and Germany. England is already implementing intensified AI surveillance, while Germany lags in this area. It could easily explode there – and if Trump supports Germany’s AfD party as he has suggested, he could push for regime change just as he has in Iran, Venezuela, and elsewhere. This is why Europe is too afraid to respond meaningfully, even to the looming invasion of Greenland.
In the end, Trump has done little more than create new martyrs – figures like Qassem Soleimani in Iran and the Levant, and Nicolás Maduro, now seen as a new Che Guevara. Trump will go down in history as an incompetent, war-obsessed president – a warlord who sought to dismantle the world order, belonging in the same league as Adolf Hitler or Benito Mussolini. Perhaps he will receive a Nobel Peace Prize from his fearful fascist friends in Europe, or perhaps he will simply buy one. For him, money is a god.
“What does it mean to be ‘presidential’? You wear a suit; you speak to the American people as if you possess the character and dignity of someone aspiring to the highest office in the land, while behind closed doors you are the worst criminal in the world, plotting the overthrow of countries and governments, pursuing regime change, and using drones to assassinate people you don’t like? Is that presidential?” – Louis Farrakhan
