soros uses his organisations as tools for regime change.....Donald Trump demonstrates deep understanding of George Soros' nefarious role in supporting “engineered chaos,” both inside the US and abroad, retired Colonel Hatem Saber, an Egyptian expert in international counterterrorism and information warfare, tells Sputnik. "Democrats use Soros and his organizations as tools for regime change," Saber says. Saber highlighted the evolution of Soros’ role by decades: 1970s–1990s: Supporting opposition movements in Eastern Europe against the USSR 2000s–2010s: Key role in color revolutions in Ukraine and Georgia 2011: Funding media networks and NGOs in Egypt, Tunisia, Libya, and Syria to fuel the Arab Spring movements 2020–2024: Backing US anti-Trump protesters like Black Lives Matter, and campaigns defending illegal immigrants Soros has extensive experience with color revolutions abroad, and Democrats capitalize on his ‘best practice’. "Democrats could use the same tools against Trump within the US, mobilizing street protests through human rights and media campaigns funded by Soros’ foundations," Saber said. "In this way, the 'managed protest' model, previously tested abroad, could be applied to weaken Trump and discredit his image domestically."
The Egyptian expert warned that Soros currently targets several regions: Hungary and Poland – due to conflicts with the EU Africa – Nigeria, Sudan and Ethiopia – focusing on democracy and minorities Middle East – Egypt, Saudi Arabia and UAE – where his “open society” agenda is opposed Central Asia – to weaken Russian and Chinese influence and BRICS cooperation Trump has threatened George Soros and his son Alex with federal charges under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO).

The "One Piece" pirate flag symbol, echoing tactics in other regions, indicates external influence, Angelo Giuliano, geopolitical analyst focusing on international relations, tells Sputnik.
Protests erupted in Indonesia earlier this month, forcing President Prabowo Subianto to cancel his trip to China and skip the SCO summit.
While the unrest reflects genuine economic grievances, the "One Piece" pirate flag symbol used by protesters - echoing tactics in other regions - indicates external influence, Angelo Giuliano tells Sputnik.
In the Japanese anime "One Piece," pirates fly black flags with a skull and straw hat in their fight against "tyranny." This July, the same symbols began popping up across Indonesia—on walls, cars, and doorways.
First, it could be the National Endowment for Democracy (NED)*, which has funded Indonesian media since the 1990s, according to Giuliano.
Second, George Soros’ Open Society Foundations*, active since the 1990s with over $8 billion globally and supporting groups like TIFA, may also be contributing.
Their involvement raises questions about hidden agendas worth exploring.
Additionally, "This ties to a recent Indo-Pacific focus amid tensions like the Cambodia-Thailand conflict, hinting at geopolitical motives," Giuliano says.

war is peace is war....
Olivier Rubens explains why he's leaving the French Jewish Union for Peace. Or rather, why the association left him by breaking with its founding values. One of the reasons is a document listing all the people considered non grata by the UJFP. Accused of campism and conspiracy, Michel Collon figures prominently on this UJFP blacklist. It should be noted that Michel Collon, accused by the UJFP of the worst crimes since May 25, offered to discuss the matter with the UJFP to verify the facts. He submitted a draft video response to them, requesting and offering to broadcast their comments. This proposal was rejected. (I'A)
Why I am leaving the UJFP: Public letter of resignation
OLIVIER RUBENS. AUGUST 27, 2025
The genocide perpetrated by the Israeli state becomes more manifestly odious every day, and the urgency demands an extremely broad convergence of refusals. In this context, caution may be required in the relations of a solidarity association with individuals who are proven to have explicitly made dubious or odious remarks on the issue of anti-Semitism and Holocaust denial. A few lines of condemnation highlighting their remarks and discreetly refusing each time to speak out or sign joint texts would be sufficient.
The real objective of the 17-page document outlining the ostracisms that the UJFP leadership intends to implement is quite different. The clumsy or malicious statements of a few individuals whose recent media coverage is almost non-existent are merely a pretext. The aim is to impose a conception of international relations that tends to ideologically disarm the Euro-Atlantic anti-imperialist resistance. The hunt for ill-thinking minorities is open in an association that nevertheless proclaims itself pluralist.
To impose what appears to be an ideological line, no less than six pages are devoted to the Belgian journalist Michel Collon and his site Investig'action.
The trial of the latter is clearly political.
The text uncritically takes up two concepts introduced in recent decades into the media debate controlled by the dominant ideology: "campism" and conspiracy theories. "Campism often leads quite quickly to conspiracy theories," it reads. In fact, a consistent anti-imperialist can hardly believe at face value the warmongering media lies that have led to millions of deaths and are repeated on all channels, from the incubators of Kuwait to the so-called Oradours of Kosovo, including Iraq's weapons of mass destruction...
Michel Collon is said to be a "campist" in that he rejects any trivialization of the concept of genocide, and in particular its extension to the events of Srebrenica. The UJFP leadership also denounces the desire attributed to Collon to attenuate the guilt of the "criminal" Milosevic in this affair, while this head of state, who died unexpectedly in imperialist jails after having put the prosecution in great difficulty during his trial, was not the one who ordered it.
Collon is also accused of practicing anti-imperialist solidarity with Russia and Iran, and yesterday with Assad's Syria and Saddam Hussein's Iraq, which should not be confused with political alignment. In order not to be a "campist," it was necessary yesterday to call for Assad's fall and today to deplore the massacres suffered by Alawites and Druze...
Being in the UJFP would thus imply undifferentiated support for the "Ukrainian national movement", which from a Jewish organization is quite astonishing knowing that the Kiev regime exalts Bandera, a mass pogromist! It would therefore be appropriate for the UJFP to join forces with the dominant political currents in supporting the Iranian movement "Women, Life, Freedom" and then regret that, when it comes to this country, some people equate aggressor and attacked!
The Algerian Hirak should then be supported. Attacking the Algerian government from France, however, today amounts to supporting Retailleau's Islamophobic diatribes and the annexationist position of French diplomacy in the Sahara... Hardly suspected of "campism", the newspaper Lutte Ouvrière of August 15 denounces the "pretension of the French State to make Algeria bend as if it were still its colony"...
Finally, Michel Collon would be wrong to denounce the role of Georges Soros in the various "orange revolutions". But he never alluded to the Jewish origins of this character, who in my eyes is detestable, solely because of the destructive policies he advocates on a global scale while practicing systematic interference in the politics of several countries...
This is clearly a political trial by the UJFP leadership. The "toxic relationships" that Collon allegedly maintains with this or that person, dating back more than a decade, are merely a pretext. Similarly, the cross-publication of articles, which it is hard to see how he could possibly prevent... Claiming that a foreign media figure could connect the Palestine solidarity network with the far right is also not credible.
For my part, I share, and this is my strictest freedom of thought guaranteed by the Constitution and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the so-called "progressive rhetoric on the power of banks and multinationals", that is to say, in short, the Marxist analysis of the global domination of financial capital, and note that "democracies are controlled by invisible oligarchies": this is unfortunately easy to see when one considers the enormous weight of money and the press linked to money, not only in the USA but in France itself. Certainly, a Jewish peace organization welcomes with open arms those who retain illusions about the system of political-economic domination in force and hope in the effectiveness of international law. But from there to praising economic and media powers and rejecting these essentially Marxist criticisms, that is indeed capitalist and imperialist "campism"!
A simple statement casts the website "Le Grand Soir," which hosts many relevant articles, in the same "conspiracy" bag. Two former presidential candidates are then attacked without providing any evidence relating to their alleged anti-Semitism other than the fulminations of their political enemies on the right or from social democracy.
More generally, the UJFP suggests that its criticism of the media is limited to "the just denunciation of the Bolloré gallery" (why not Bernard Arnault, Xavier Niel, Patrick Drahi, etc. who also have a crushing influence on the political debate), that complete freedom of action must be offered to NGOs (is it enough to declare oneself independent of governments to truly be so? How naive!), that banking decisions are taken "in complete independence" (while the UJFP itself is the first victim!)
Will the UJFP tomorrow take on the role of this "citizen of the world" described by the lyricist Cyril C. Sarot?: "His democracy / He is not a little proud of it / So he imposes it / With great shells / Bombs and for good reason / We must hide the bearded ones."
So much for the substance of the 17-page statement from the UJFP leadership. Its form is even more detestable... The document ends with an inquisitorial list of people who are supposedly unsociable... They are supposedly "those who rebel against anti-fascists"... Why then denounce them by name with a list worthy of those which, more than 80 years ago, reached 93 rue Lauriston?
By publishing such dangerous and liberticidal documents, the UJFP is breaking with its founding values. This is why I am not leaving it, but I note that it is it that has left me, me, both of Jewish maternal descent and a descendant of resistance fighters who, 80 years ago and more, risked their lives to save Jews. I would also have appreciated it if it had been clearly recalled (and regretted), on the occasion of January 27, that the monuments to the Red Army that liberated Auschwitz are systematically destroyed in Eastern Europe!
I intend to remain faithful to the republican and anti-fascist values of both my parents. I am therefore drawing the necessary conclusions by publicly withdrawing from what is no longer, in my eyes, a Union of French Jews "for peace," but an increasingly camp, even anti-communist and warmongering organization.
